Anatolian Textile (Arasta Bazaar – Sultanahmet)
This is the first store at one of the ends of the single corridor of the Arasta Bazaar. We have been going to this shop since our first visit to Istanbul. Their embroidered woolen shawls are wonderful and their superior quality is rarely found in other stores. Here, customers deserve special attention but must pay a price…It is difficult, to leave without having your picture taken wearing an odalisque veil next to “sultan” Bülent Zortul, owner of the store!
